Summary. At the International Conference on Transparency of Beneficiary Ownership, which took place in Jakarta (Indonesia), Ukraine was awarded for considerable progress in disclosure of beneficiary owners of companies and development of related legislation. At the press-conference, the participants will talk about the work that Ukraine is doing on implementation of the principle of transparency of beneficiary ownership, how the register of data on beneficiary owners works, Ukraine’s achievements and challenges in this area. It is noteworthy that, as of now, there are only two countries which have disclosed the data on beneficiary ownership – Ukraine and the UK.
