17 civil society organizations have urged political parties and potential MPs to support the demands of civil society necessary to establish real justice in Ukraine.

Freedom and justice are Ukrainians’ biggest values. But real justice is yet to be seen even after the Revolution of Dignity.

The reasons include the failed reforms of the judiciary, prosecution, the police, as well as high-ranking corrupt officials avoiding punishment.

Instead of performing their actual functions, some of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies cover up corruption. The Ukrainian Themis is accountable to politicians, not to the society. Positive changes that have been implemented during the past five years are constantly at risk.

That is why Ukrainian civil society organizations have united to present joint requirements to political parties running for the Parliament in the 2019 elections.

They demand the future parliament to establish justice.

To do this, MPs have to provide adequate reforms of the judiciary, the prosecution, the police, reboot some of the anti-corruption agencies, restore responsibility for illicit enrichment, deprive the SBU of extended functions and preserve such positive changes as international procurement of medication.

Civil society organizations urge potential MPs to support the Agenda for Justice and to implement it when they end up in the Parliament.

For their part, activists are ready to have meetings with representatives of political parties to discuss the agenda publicly.

Зі свого боку, активісти готові зустрічатися з представниками політичних партій для публічного обговорення порядку денного.
