The biggest global forum that brings together government officials, representatives of international organizations, civil society, the private sector, and more from around the world to engage in dialog and share experience in reducing corruption.

Over six days, more than 500 speakers will participate in stimulating discussion under the theme, Designing 2030: Truth, Trust & Transparency. Participants will hear from experts working on the ground and experimenting with new practices to advance the anti-corruption agenda. 

Transparency International Ukraine is going to moderate a panel discussion on “Effective mechanisms of management of assets derived from corruption”. This panel aims to bring up the discussion of the need for countries and the international community to ensure that there are adequate mechanisms in place to manage and preserve the value and condition of assets pending the conclusion of confiscation proceedings and, where appropriate, non-conviction-based proceedings to recover identified proceeds. The speakers in this panel are going to be:  

 

  • Vaclav Prusa – Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre Transparency International Nigeria
  • Fatima Kanji – International State Crime Initiative, Queen Mary University of London
  • Laure Brillaud – Senior Policy Officer at Transparency International EU
  • Lyudmila Sugak – Head of International Department at National Agency of Ukraine for Investigation and Management of Assets

Moreover, the Head of International Department of TI Ukraine Anastasiya Kozlovtseva is going to speak on the other panels with no less interesting topics.
