On December 19, the ARMA Head Selection Commission, at its meeting, approved documents related to the procedure for evaluating candidates and announced the start of the application period.
All interested applicants may submit their documents to participate in the selection process until January 19, 2026.
A candidate for the position of ARMA Head must:
- be a citizen of Ukraine;
- hold a higher legal or economic education;
- have at least five years of professional experience;
- have at least three years of experience in managerial positions;
- be fluent in the state language and one of the official languages of the Council of Europe;
- demonstrate integrity and professional competence.

The Commission approved the criteria and methodology for evaluating candidates, as well as the procedure for conducting the competition. Draft versions of these documents were presented to the public last week, and the Commission approved their revised versions today.
In addition, members of the Commission clarified specific aspects of assessing candidates’ knowledge and skills, noting in particular that only sample test and practical tasks will be published. Completed practical assignments will be made public after the completion of each stage of the selection process.
The Commission also emphasized the requirement to confirm proficiency in the Ukrainian language, noting that candidates who do not yet have the relevant certificate may submit it by February 28.
