“Updating and expanding the staff of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office is a crucial step for the operation of the body. After all, they provide high-quality procedural management of corruption investigations and improve the chances to prove these crimes in court,” explains Kateryna Ryzhenko, Deputy Executive Director for Legal Affairs at Transparency International Ukraine.
The competition to select candidates for the positions of SAPO prosecutors began on August 18, 2023.
The selection itself consists of tests for knowledge of the law (the professional test) and for general abilities, as well as the interview stage, which includes the candidates’ performance of a practical task.
