A journalist and editor by education, Olesia graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.”

She joined the Transparency International Ukraine team in the fall of 2018. Throughout her time with the organization, Olesia was responsible for communications in the anti-corruption and public property directions. She also headed the communication department for several years, including during the country’s most challenging periods: the COVID-19 pandemic and the first 10 months of the full-scale invasion.

Prior to joining TI Ukraine, Olesia gained extensive journalistic experience working in various media outlets, a news agency, and on television. She also served as a communication manager for the Civil Oversight Council under the NABU.

Since March 2024, Olesia has headed the Transparent Cities program, which focuses on reducing corruption at the local level and promoting best practices for transparency and accountability.
