In order to involve local CSOs in building transparency and accountability in Ukrainian cities included in the ranking, TI Ukraine held a subgrant competition and is currently ready to announce the winners.
Aim of the competition: to increase the transparency level of municipality by at least 20 points in comparison with the situation in the transparency ranking as of June 2017 (ranking and methodology available at transparentcities.in.ua/en).

Evaluation and selection of project proposals were based on the principles of collegiality and transparency. The decisions were made by the members of the special commission.
The Project Evaluation Criteria:
Correspondence of the project to the objective, tasks and priorities of the competition
Creative approach to the project implementation
Feasibility of the project, clear plan of project implementation, indication of the expected results
Sustainability of the project results
Communication aspect of the project, directing its results to a wide range of public
Involvement of partners
Correspondence of the budget to the declared activity
