Zoriana Semehen got her MSc in Public Policy in University College London in 2018 and her MA in Law in Vasyl Stephanyk Precarpathian National University in 2012. She has worked in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and in the Parliament, as the head consultant of the Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government. Since 2016, she contributed to development of draft laws on local self-government and decentralization. Zoriana has participated in professional programs on governance in Austria (European Forum Alpbach), Germany (High Level Experts Program), Sweden (Policy Advisers Course for Eastern Partners), the US (Open World) and Estonia. She has been granted the Chevening scholarship by the UK Government.
