On October 19, the Selection Commission for the Head of ARMA held a meeting at which it adopted updated procedural documents and officially announced a new competition to select the Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency.

Lawyers and economists who meet the statutory requirements can apply from October 26 to November 26, 2026, inclusive.

The commission also allowed candidates to submit their state language proficiency certificate at any point during the selection, but no later than three days before the interview.

It further revised a number of procedural documents. The Rules of Procedure, the Procedure for Conducting the Competitive Selection, and the criteria and methodology for evaluating candidates have all been adopted in new versions.

The evaluation system has changed as well: candidates will no longer be screened out at the legislation knowledge test; instead, screening will take place after the cognitive abilities test. Only those who score more than 55 points on it will advance to the next stage.

The results of both tests will be used to compile a ranking list, with the cognitive skills test weighted at 40% and knowledge of legislation at 60%.

The approved documents, the announcement, and the requirements for candidates will be published on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine website shortly.
