Today, on 26 June, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a Decree introducing a new composition of the National Council on Anti-Corruption Policy. It is the first time that representatives of international organizations, including Transparency International Ukraine, have obtained an official status as observers in the Council.

Under the Decree, the National Council now includes representatives of expert NGOs, business associations, heads of anti-corruption and other specialized government agencies, etc. Among those working on the Council are heads of Transparency International Ukraine, the European Business Association, American Chamber of Commerce, Anti-Corruption Action Center and Center of Policy and Legal Reform.

TI Ukraine will be represented in this advisory agency by its Executive Director Andrii Borovyk.

The appointed head of the Council is the deputy head of the Presidential Office Ruslan Riaboshapka.

According to Slovo i Dilo, it is the first time that representatives of international organizations and diplomatic institutions supporting Ukraine in its anti-corruption activity have obtained the official status of observers in the Council.

Apart from the organizations listed above, Council observers include representatives of the World Bank, USAID, UNDP, OECD, EUACI, etc.
