On September 5, 2025, Transparency International Ukraine’s platform HACC Decided celebrates one year of operation. Over the past year, it has become a vital tool for monitoring and analyzing the decisions of the High Anti-Corruption Court and for providing the public with clear, comprehensive, and objective information about the outcomes of anti-corruption justice in Ukraine.
As of now, the platform features 450 case summaries, regularly updated and expanded. These aren’t just brief overviews — each includes easy-to-read infographics showing key events in the case, related news and analysis (if available), all court decisions, and even livestreams of court hearings when available.
Key achievements of the platform over the past year:
- 110,000+ court documents — the platform includes all HACC documents: rulings, decisions, verdicts, etc.
- 450+ case summaries — nearly every day, new cases are added and existing ones updated
- 265+ news items — TI Ukraine’s legal monitors attend HACC hearings or watch livestreams daily to report on the latest developments
- Approx. 3,300 livestreams — a new feature added this year lets users track hearing broadcasts directly on the platform. If a livestream exists for a case, there’s no need to search YouTube — it’s linked at the bottom of the case summary.
*Data current as of September 2.
The value of HACC Decided lies in its ability to demonstrate that the fight against corruption doesn’t end with a search or a press release. And corruption doesn’t go unpunished. These cases may not always move quickly or result in convictions, but they send a clear signal: there can be consequences. For anyone interested in anti-corruption, the platform offers a fast, user-friendly way to find out how a case ended, or where it currently stands.
“HACC Decided is the only platform of its kind in Ukraine. It brings together a database of court rulings, case summaries, and supporting materials in a convenient format. We built it so any citizen, journalist, or expert can find everything they need about a case in just a few minutes — and see that fighting corruption means more than dramatic arrests; it means trials and their outcomes too,” said Oksana Kopiichuk, legal advisor at Transparency International Ukraine and head of the HACC Decided project.
TI Ukraine will continue to develop the platform to ensure quality monitoring of HACC’s work, aiming to strengthen transparency and accountability in Ukraine’s anti-corruption justice system.
