Transparency International Ukraine announces a competitive selection for the position of Executive Director in accordance with the Organization’s Charter. The Executive Director of Transparency International Ukraine will be responsible for all aspects of the organization’s work — from defining and agreeing on strategic goals to ensuring their implementation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, oversee, and maintain a coherent vision for the strategic and operational development of the Organization based on its mission and values
  • Define key milestones and objectives, unite and guide the team toward achieving them effectively
  • Manage the Organization’s strategic and operational activities in line with its goals and objectives
  • Advance the Organization’s mission through engagement with various stakeholders, including the TI movement, TI Ukraine’s Board, donors, national and international partners, media, Organization members, and project teams
  • Develop strategic plans and ensure the alignment of strategic and operational plans and activities with the Organization’s mission, values, and objectives; monitor implementation and ensure timely reporting 
  • Shape the Organization’s overall approach to cooperation with representatives of government bodies, business, civil society, and international partners
  • Lead fundraising efforts, represent the Organization in communication with donors and their representatives regarding project implementation, development, and expansion
  • Plan, organize, and effectively represent TI Ukraine in national and international media
  • Ensure effective formation, management, and development of program and project teams
  • Strengthen and expand the Organization’s impact
  • Foster team spirit, provide guidance, oversight, and resources for successful performance
  • Consolidate and develop the Organization’s program areas and strategies, ensuring their successful implementation.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of progressive professional experience managing complex programs or projects in the public or non-governmental sector, including in the field of anti-corruption
  • In-depth knowledge of the Organization’s key areas of work and of the anti-corruption field in general
  • Proven record of successfully leading a multidisciplinary team of 30 or more staff members
  • Proven record of securing and managing organizational funding of approximately UAH 50 million per year
  • Excellent coordination and negotiation skills, both for internal management and external stakeholder relations
  • Experience in public speaking and engagement with media and other stakeholders Knowledge of effective modern communication models and approaches is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly and accurately assess complex issues, make timely and relevant decisions, and translate program or project priorities into operational strategies
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken Ukrainian and English
  • Proven ability to represent the Organization and build strong relationships with stakeholders 
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills with senior internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively in both English and Ukrainian

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a large workload
  • Capacity to handle multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results on time.

Compensation: Competitive monthly salary (to be determined based on interview results).
