The Cabinet of Ministers approved the list of the first recovery projects to be implemented at the expense of the Fund for Elimination of Consequences of Armed Aggression (the Elimination Fund).

In total, the list included 159 projects recommended by the interdepartmental working group from among 377 proposals of applicants. Among the selected ones are the construction (reconstruction) and repair of residential infrastructure, educational and medical institutions, municipal infrastructure.

According to the Ministry for Restoration, those that do not meet the requirements for the arrangement of shelters were excluded from the list of priority projects.

For the implementation of recovery projects, the government allocated UAH 6.6 bln, which will be distributed among local budgets (oblasts or territorial communities) in accordance with the identified funding needs.

Kharkiv and Kyiv oblasts will receive the most — UAH 1.88 bln and almost UAH 1.7 bln, respectively. Moreover, the list includes objects from Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kherson oblasts. The projects are planned to be implemented within 2023-2024.

In July, the Interdepartmental Working Group will continue considering proposals for the allocation of resources of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

Let us remind you that earlier, the government has already allocated UAH 4.4 bln from this fund within the framework of the eRecovery project — a state program that citizens of Ukraine can useto restore damaged housing as a result of the armed aggression of russia.
