On March 31, TI Ukraine commenced the acceptance of applications for its internship program. This presents a unique opportunity for enthusiasts eager to gain hands-on experience in the fight against corruption, enhance their professional skills, and become part of the TI Ukraine team.

Who can join?

We invite students in their 4th to 6th year, university graduates, or professionals seeking to explore a new field or specialty to become participants in our internship program.

What can participants expect?

  • 4 weeks of volunteer internship
  • an advanced, 12-week paid internship for the most motivated interns
  • a hybrid internship format—combining online and in-office work, part-time
  • mentorship from industry professionals
  • active involvement in the development of communication, legal, and analytical projects that propose tangible changes in our state
  • participation in social media content creation, copywriting, and design tasks
  • researching solutions to address complex anti-corruption cases
  • complete immersion in the work of one of the organization’s departments
  • valuable networking opportunities with representatives of the anti-corruption sector
  • a potential opportunity to join Transparency International Ukraine as a permanent employee.

How will the internship be structured?

Our internship program consists of two stages—volunteer and paid—during which interns will receive regular tasks from their mentor. Program participants will have the opportunity to work part-time in our office located in the center of Kyiv.

The internship will begin with a two-day training session, during which participants will be introduced to the organization’s key areas of activity. Interns will then be required to complete 12 days of practical tasks across any department they choose. Based on the results of the previous stages, the coordinator will determine the professional development path for the intern over the following 4 weeks.

Following this, interns will be evaluated, and the most skilled will have the opportunity to undertake a 12-week paid internship. At this stage, interns will be expected to demonstrate improved performance, with tasks becoming more complex.

At the end of the internship, participants who demonstrate their potential will have the opportunity to receive either a job offer for an available position within the organization or detailed career advice from our HR team.

What do we expect from candidates?

  • incomplete (4th-6th year) or completed higher education
  • interest in fighting corruption
  • ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • fluency in Ukrainian and English, at least at an Upper-Intermediate level
  • a strong sense of justice and zero tolerance for corruption.

Results of the previous internship program

Last year, we implemented a similar internship program, and as a result, the organization extended offers to 20% of the interns. Among the interested participants were students from 30 universities across Ukraine, as well as other educational institutions.

 How to join the program?

To join the internship, submit an application by May 15 using this link. Selected candidates will receive a test task, and those who successfully complete it will be invited to an interview with the HR and an expert in the relevant field. The program starts on June 16.
