We, representatives of civil society organizations and the media, call on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to resume live broadcasts of plenary sessions on the Rada TV channel and to publish the agendas of these sessions in advance — starting with the next session, which will consider the crucial draft law on restoring the independence of the NABU and the SAPO.
These decisions are fundamental to advancing anti-corruption reform, maintaining international trust in Ukraine, and progressing toward European integration. That is why the public must have the opportunity to see in real time how Members of Parliament vote and what positions they express publicly.
We live in a time of deep distrust and societal tension. Transparency in decision-making is not a formality — it is the foundation of parliamentary legitimacy. A lack of openness only fuels suspicions of backroom deals and undermines public trust in democratic institutions.
We demand:
The immediate resumption of live online broadcasts of Verkhovna Rada plenary sessions, starting with the upcoming one.
