HR MANAGER

The HR Manager is responsible for managing the human capital of the organization to ensure that the strategic goals of the organization are achieved in the most effective way. The main tasks include the formation and development of teams, support for the organizational culture, ensuring compliance with the legislation and best practices in the field of talent management, through the formation and implementation of the HR strategy of the organization.

The HR manager is part of the team of the development department, which comprehensively ensures the operational activities of the organization.

What you will engage in:

  1. Recruitment and talent acquisition: attracting and selecting qualified candidates for vacancies in the organization. This will include the entire recruitment cycle (engagement in the development of vacancy announcements, interviews, as well as assessment and participation in the decision to select the best candidates), adaptation of new team members, their support along the way, and working with the internship program in the organization to form a personnel reserve.
  2. Talent development: creation and coordination of professional development programs in the organization, career planning, organization of trainings and seminars for the team.
  3. Managing team performance evaluation: coordinating and conducting feedback sessions, ensuring standards and approaches to the team evaluation system, identifying strengths and weaknesses of employees for further decisions on retaining, enhancing, or expanding the functions of individual employees.
  4. Team relationship management: engaging in conflict resolution, promoting more effective talent management in the organization.
  5. Support and development of a favorable organizational culture: implementation of internal communications, organization of team-building activities, ensuring the reflection of the values, mission, and vision of the organization in the internal culture.
  6. Personnel records management: ensuring compliance with all requirements and norms in the field of labor, personnel records management in accordance with the Labor Code.
  7. Analysis and strategic planning: working with HR analytics, analysis of the labor market, working on the development of the personnel reserve, development of strategic plans to ensure the optimal use of human resources, development of the organization’s HR brand.

Skills you will need for this job:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • higher education in the field of personnel management/sociology/psychology/law;
  • knowledge of personnel search methods and interview tools;
  • ability to resolve conflicts, mediation skills, persuasion skills;
  • initiative, proactivity;
  • high level of communication skills, ability to build trusting relationships with people;
  • consistency and responsibility, independence in decision-making;
  • excellent organizational skills;
  • knowledge of labor legislation and tracking of current changes;
  • excellent command of the Ukrainian language, at least intermediate level of English;
  • experience in the public sector will be an advantage.

– the team of the Development Department is part of Transparency International Ukraine. TI Ukraine is the representative chapter of the international organization Transparency International. The organization takes a comprehensive approach to the development and implementation of changes for reduction of corruption levels in certain areas.

– the team of the Development Department cooperates with all departments of the organization and consists of the Deputy Director of Operations, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Translator, System Administrator, and Administrative Assistant.
