International Relations Manager

We are looking for a person to join the team of the international relations and fundraising department of Transparency International Ukraine. If you share our values and want to advocate the priorities of the organization and the country at the international level — this position is for you!

The team of the international relations and fundraising department of Transparency International Ukraine coordinates, advocates the organization’s priorities among international partners and donors, and works on fundraising. In particular, the team provides systematic communication with foreign partners within the organization’s focus areas.

In this role, there are three main directions: ensuring the most effective communication with international partners, donors, and representatives of the Secretariat of Transparency International, coordination of work on advocating the priorities of the organization, fundraising, and ensuring the expansion of the network of international partners of the organization for the effective implementation of projects.

What you will engage in:

  • reviewing international anti-corruption events, preparing annotations and weekly international digests based on the results of the organization’s work, maintaining an English-language Twitter account;
  • working with the database of contacts of the network of international partners and donors;
  • developing applications for international events;
  • assisting in organizing public events and meetings with representatives of the international community and donors;
  • ensuring the participation of international partners in the activities of the organization;
  • participating in the fundraising activities of the organization;
  • attracting the organization’s team to the activities of the global community of Transparency International.

Skills you will need for this job:

  • fluency in Ukrainian, English;
  • punctuality, attention to detail, self-discipline;
  • experience in project activities and organization of public events will be an advantage;
  • excellent business correspondence skills;
  • excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present information in a concise and structured manner;
  • understanding of the grant cycle, knowledge of the principles and features of the work and financing of civil society organizations of Ukraine will be an advantage;
  • knowledge of the structure and functions of the institutions of the European Union and American government structures will be an advantage;
  • the availability of a network of connections among the international and donor community will be an advantage.

  • at least two years of experience in international relations and fundraising;
  • experience of interaction with international stakeholders and donor organizations;
  • interest in advocating the priorities of the organization at the international level;
  • experience in project management in cooperation with international donor organizations will be an advantage.

Additionally:

– the team of the international relations and fundraising department is part of Transparency International Ukraine. TI Ukraine is the representative chapter of the international organization Transparency International. The organization takes a comprehensive approach to the development and implementation of changes for reduction of the corruption levels in certain areas and has other teams working in their respective areas;

– the team of the international relations and fundraising department works in the international context and is coordinated by the executive director of the organization, consists of a head of the direction and a manager for international relations and fundraising;

– the team has a network of partners in Europe and the world and the potential to form new contacts or collaborations;

– the most important thing for us is to be useful for the most effective implementation of anti-corruption projects in Ukraine in cooperation with international stakeholders on the way to successful Euro-Atlantic integration.
