Kateryna Ryzhenko is the Deputy Executive Director on Legal Affairs at Transparency International Ukraine. She joined the team in 2016, and since 2019 has been heading the Legal department. Kateryna is an expert with more than 7-year experience in anti-corruption policy development and advocacy and is author of a great number of analytical briefs and legal analyses on anti-corruption. Among her areas of expertise are criminal justice and confiscation of illicitly obtained assets.

Kateryna is a Head of the Secretariat for the first External Assessment Commission of the Performance of the National Corruption Prevention Agency (NACP). In 2019-2021, Kateryna was a Co-head of the Selection Committee for the NACP, and, in 2017-2019, the member of the Civil Oversight Council at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Kateryna has a master’s degree from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv and LL.M from the University of Oslo.
